A demonstration on how to make fig bonbons – the delicious fig sweets synonymous with the Algarve – will be taking place at Tavira’s municipal museum on Saturday, from 10am to 4.30pm. Aimed at the general public and free of charge, spaces are limited, so anyone wishing to take part should phone their intention through to 281 320 500 by Thursday. The workshop is part of the council’s “Mediterranean Diet All Year Round” programme.
