Taking place between August 18 and 27, the antiques and flea market is part of the «Summer in Tavira» programme.
Between August 18 and 27, Tavira’s Rua do Cais is hosting an Antiques Fair and Flea Market. The event opens between 19:00 and 00:00 from Monday to Thursday and between 19:00 and 01:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Organised by the Municipality of Tavira, the Fair will be attended by antique dealers from various parts of the country in an exhibition that aims to promote and commercialise antique objects with symbolic, artistic and cultural value for collectors or visitors.
This is yet another initiative part of the «Verão em Tavira» (Summer in Tavira) programme, which also sees Portuguese band Sétima Legião take the stage on August 23 to mark their 40th anniversary with a concert.
In addition to the Antiques Fair and Flea Market, between August 30 to September 3, the Stocks Fair returns for another edition. Several associated commercial spaces will take part in the initiative promoted by the Association for the Integrated Development of Baixa de Tavira.
And until October 2, on the Praça Dr António Padinha (Jardim da Alagoa), from Monday to Wednesday, and at Jardim das Palmeiras, from Friday to Sunday, visitors can enjoy handicraft exhibitions organised by local associations ASTA, Almadra and Albacore.
