Talks on Portuguese history will be taking place in Lagoa and Tavira during October.
Peter Booker will be talking about the history of Tavira including information about how the city has evolved from the 19th to the 21st century and why it is known in the travel trade as the jewel of the Algarve.
Peter will give his talk in Lagoa on October 20 at the Convento São José (6.30pm) and in Tavira on October 30 at the Municipal Library (11am).
