Tavira Fund Raisers held a bazaar on November 28 which raised 916 euros for the Canil São Francisco animal charity in Loulé.
There was plenty of opportunity for visitors to pick up festive purchases with a variety of stalls offering Christmas goodies.
The Canil São Francisco has cared for more than 30,000 animals including dogs, cats and horses since 1983.
