Tasty stamps

Portugal’s postal service CTT – Correios de Portugal has launched a new collection of stamps dedicated to the traditional smokehouses and smoked sausages produced in the Algarve, Alentejo, Beiras and the Azores. Entitled ‘Sabores do Ar e do Fogo’ (Flavours of the Air and Fire), the stamps have been designed by AF Atelier, with photography by Mário Cerdeira, and depict the Monchique ‘farinheira’, the Estremoz ‘chouriço’ and the São Miguel ‘morcela’, among other types of smoked sausage.
