Crab, prawns, cockles and even barnacles for the more adventurous are just some of the options on the menu at the new O Gordo Comilão restaurant.
The restaurant, which opened on Saturday in Carvoeiro, sees José Rafael Gonçalves, known as Rafa, realise his dream of being able to offer clients a traditional food choice in the village.
“I have worked for many years in restaurants but have always wanted to share some of the more unusual and delicious delicacies the Algarve has to offer,” he said. O Gordo Comilão is situated on Rua do Barranco and is open daily from 11am.
