Portuguese airline TAP saw its passenger numbers reach over 17 million in 2019, a new record.
Says the airline, the numbers represent an increase of 8.2% (over 1.2 million) compared to 2018.
It also reports that the average occupation rate of its planes topped the 80%-mark last year.
Despite a slow start, TAP says that 2019 ended up being “a year of all-round growth”.
