Portuguese flag-carrier TAP achieved a profit of €16 million in 2012, compared to the €3.1 million achieved in the previous year, and has described the figure as an “outstanding performance” in the current economic context.
“TAP had an outstanding performance in a very difficult year for the Portuguese and European economies,” said the financial manager of TAP, Michael Michael Connolly, at a press conference, stressing that for the fourth consecutive year, the company has managed to obtain positive results.
