TAP plans to fly to Canada by 2018

Portuguese airline TAP has announced plans to start flying to Canada by 2018.

The game plan is to open an air link to Montreal using smaller aircrafts (A320) before launching routes to Toronto.

The announcement was made on Wednesday (April 6) after TAP’s Chief Commercial Officer Trey Urbahn revealed the airline will be the first to use the new A330neo aeroplanes.

TAP has purchased 53 of these aircrafts from Airbus, Urbahn said at an A330neo exhibition in Hamburg, Germany.
