TAP boss to testify in parliament

Christine Ourmières-Widener, CEO of national flag carrier, TAP, is to testify in parliament next Wednesday (January 18), following a mandatory request presented from right-wing party CHEGA, calling for explanations over the €500,000 golden handshake paid to an executive (Alexandra Reis) later appointed secretary of state for the treasury. According to the agenda of the committee on economy, public works, planning and housing, Ms Ourmières-Widener will be testifying at a hearing scheduled to start at 10.30 a.m.
