Three Algarve-based companies have joined forces to bring their services to residents across the region through a series of “At Your Door” events.
The first was held on October 27, at the Vicentina Aparthotel in Aljezur and saw representatives from Currencies Direct of Almancil, Ibex Insurance based in Boliqueime and euroFinesco of Guia available to offer advice.
Philippa Rowat of Currencies Direct said that they appreciate that not all clients are able to attend events in other parts of the Algarve and that they hoped people would find it useful to bring services directly to them.
Visitors were welcomed with refreshments followed by an informal discussion about the services the three companies have to offer.
Janet Tartaglia introduced Ibex insurance (www.ibexinsure.com), one of the leading advisors in the region offering a range of insurances for home, marine, travel and pets, among others.
Philippa Rowat was able to provide advice on personalised financial services offered by Currencies Direct.
And euroFinesco (www.eurofinesco.com) was introduced by Raoul Ruiz Martinez, who as an investment advisor can offer assistance with all types of requirements including help in negotiating the Portuguese system and financial planning.
In the long term it is hoped to include other complementary service providers at events.
On October 27, they were joined by Helen Sands of Ambioasis estate agents, based in Aljezur and Carrapateira (www.ambioasis.com) advising on all property matters.
The next event is due to take place in December, at a date yet to be fixed, and will also be free to attend.
