Madrugada is holding a Walk of Light, enabling people to remember and honour the lives of those they have loved and lost, along Meia Praia beach, Lagos, on Saturday, November 12.
The walk is a leisurely stroll starting at 5pm from the Tivoli Beach Club, lasting approximately one-and-a-half hours.
After the walk, there will be a short celebration of life and the release of lanterns, if weather conditions allow, followed by a buffet from 7.15pm onwards.
The organisers hope that all ages, families and individuals will come and help make this an annual event of remembrance to be held at different locations along the Algarve.
Participants will receive a Walk of Light pack comprising a T-shirt, dynamo torch, kaleidoscope (for children), and pamphlet of remembrance, in addition to the hot and cold buffet dinner which also includes drinks and music.
Single packs are priced at €25, double packs at €45 and family packs for two adults and two children are €65.
