Swindon Town FC was in the Algarve for warm weather training in July and chose the Amendoeira Golf Resort near the town of Silves for their training sessions.
Under the watchful eye of caretaker manager Mark Cooper, the team trained daily from July 22 to 27 on the natural grass pitch at the on-site Amendoeira Sports Club in high temperatures nearing 30ºC.
