Swim against rising tide of electricity bills

With electricity bills rising by 20% because of the combined effect of EDP’s price increase and the VAT rise, Bright Colours based near Almancil is suggesting pool owners and property renters consider a Duratech pool heater for maintaining “comfortable” pool temperatures and attracting “more rental income” this year.

The company said: “Duratech’s Dura range of super-efficient, super-reliable heat pumps gives you up to €5.5 worth of heat for every €1 of electricity you use to power the pumps, cutting running costs by up to 25% compared to most alternatives.”

Sold in Portugal by Bright Colours, the Duratech heaters are designed in Belgium using high-quality components and “first-class engineering skills”, making the heat pumps and titanium heat exchangers virtually bullet-proof to corrosion by salt and chlorine.

The Duratech Dura heaters were selected by Bright Colours because the heat pumps represent “the best in range in terms of guaranteeing high quality at a competitive price” (from 1,968€ inc. VAT).

The heat pumps are able to reduce energy consumption by extracting heat from the air and transferring it to your pool – “ideal when you consider average Algarve air temperatures,” said a spokesman for Bright Colours.

If you would like to know more about the heat pumps and their installation, call Bright Colours on 289 391 100 (9am to 5pm) or visit www.brightcolours.eu
