Sweet treats for MEPS

MEPS in Brussels are to be treated to some of the best sweets the Algarve has to offer on February 18 as part of an initiative by local MEP Jamila Madeira.

A lunch dedicated to the traditional cuisine of the Algarve has been arranged by Jamila Madeira to promote the region to MEPs and is being supported by the ERTA, Algarve tourism board.

More than 500 handcrafted marzipan sweets and baskets of figs and cheese will be on offer to MEPS in all the canteens, restaurants and bars at the European Parliament on the day.
