A STUDY in the UK revealed that almost half of divorcing couples use private investigators to find out whether their spouse has cheated. A staggering 49 per cent hired sleuths in 2006, which is much higher than the 18 per cent in 2005. Distrusting women made up 30 per cent, while 19 per cent of men hired private investigators. Extra marital affairs are currently the leading cause of divorce in the UK and men comprise 69 per cent of adulterers, while 31 per cent are female.
