‘Suspended batch of Janssen’ vaccine reinstated

The suspended batch of Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine is back on track today after investigation concluded that the ‘indeterminate number of people fainting’ in Mafra earlier this week could have been more to do with nerves and/ or the heat than anything amiss with the one-shot vaccine. Reports have since explained that the ‘people’ were a group of young people, uner the age of 30, all of whom recovered from their fainting with no consequences. Indeed, the fainting could be explained as an adverse side effect, but one that is fleeting.
