A 65-year-old man was arrested on Monday at Faro Airport under suspicions of drug trafficking, PJ police have announced.
The suspect was detained during an inspection by customs services targeted at a flight that had arrived from Brazil, which resulted in the confiscation of 4.2 kilos of cocaine and “objects related to the crime.”
The man has been remanded in custody as PJ police will continue their investigation.
