An armed bank robber who stole around 3,900 euros in cash from a branch of the Banif bank in Quarteira earlier this month has been caught by the PJ police.
According to a statement issued by the PJ, the 49 year-old man, who is suspected of having robbed the bank by threatening staff with a gun on January 5, is a resident of Beja in the Alentejo region.
Following the arrest on January 8, the suspect was presented at Loulé court the same day.
