More than 100 jobless people in the Tavira council have benefitted from the employment support services provided by the municipal authority. Since the creation of the Professional Insertion Office (Gabinete de Inserção Profissional) in May last year, a total of 700 people have participated in employment advice sessions promoted by Tavira Câmara. The unemployed are informed of job opportunities in both Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António councils.
