A number of private social solidarity institutions in the Loulé council have benefitted from a €25,000 grant from the Loulé Câmara.
Among the beneficiaries are the Existir association for handicapped people, the Social and Cultural Association of Tôr, the Community Centre of Vale Silves and other nursery, pre-school and after-school facilities in the area.
According to Loulé Câmara, these institutions contribute to alleviating the needs of the poorer in society, help to combat social inequalities and promote integrated child development by supporting families.
