Monte Gordo, which has been honouring its local patron saint of fishermen since September 4, will be ending festivities with a performance by Portuguese superstar Marco Paulo on September 8. The concert is expected to attract thousands of fans of the beloved artist to the Marginal avenue in Monte Gordo at 10pm. A firework display at midnight will follow the performance. Entrance is free.
