Overwhelming favourites the Pittsburgh Steelers claimed a record sixth Super Bowl victory in Tampa, Florida on Sunday night.
But it was not all plain sailing for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s troops at the 43rd edition of this American Football season-ending grand finale as the Arizona Cardinals did their best to belie their underdog status. With 42 seconds remaining, however, a Santonio Holmes touchdown gained the day for the Steelers, turning a 20-23 deficit into a 27-23 victory.
