Concerts, delicious food and drink, dance performances and relaxing massages are once again the highlights of the Sunset Secrets event at Silves Castle, which will take place every Thursday, from June 28 until August 2.
The first musical guests will be José Alegre and Fernando Ponte who will bring their brand of traditional Portuguese music to the castle.
The line-up also includes Fado singer Ana Marques (July 5), folk group Storm & The Sun (July 12), soul and funk act Gabrielle e os Pedros (July 19), the eclectic Nelson Conceição Trio (July 26) and, lastly, the Matt Lester Dance Band (August 2).
Doors open at 6.30pm with rounds of free massages available starting at 7pm.
Musical shows start at 7.45pm, with a break at 8.30pm featuring gastronomic demonstrations and tastings.
Artists will take the stage again at 9.15pm followed by oriental belly dancing, courtesy of Mónica Pereira.
The event closes at 11pm.
Tickets cost €5 (general public) and €2 for Silves residents.
Admission is free for children under 10.
