Sunday roast turned into ice cream sundae

The traditional Sunday roast has been created as an ice cream sundae.

The Sundae Lunch, designed by an award-winning Italian ‘mixologist’ Roberto Labrano, is made up of three courses of tasty desserts.

The first course is a fresh pea sorbet followed by the main course of beef bouillon and horseradish sorbet which is topped by a Yorkshire pudding wafer.

The final dessert is an apple and blackberry crumble gelato. The frozen meal costs 16.99 pounds  sterling.

The strange sundae is being offered by makers The Icecreamists in their ice cream parlour at Selfridges in London.

Diners at the parlour can also sit in a real ice cream van to eat their purchases and play its jingles.
