Vila Vita Parc in Porches has unveiled three new additions to its festive season programme for December.
Sunday brunches will be held every Sunday in December from 12.30pm to 3pm at the Bela Vita restaurant.
The menu will include starters such as shrimp with avocado, chilli and lime dip or beef carpaccio, truffle and cheese dip, arugula and pine nuts.
Equally mouthwatering is the wide range of main courses from veal cheek “au Vin”, parsnip purée and tubers to octopus in aromatic olive oil, spinach and sweet potato.
Price for the brunch is €49 per person, with a selection of drinks (Vila Vita Parc wines, soft drinks, water and beer) available for €15 per person.
Another highlight will be the ‘Teppanyaki & Sake Masterclasses’ which will teach participants how to cook using a teppanyaki grill and how to make the Japanese rice beer known as sake. They will then be able to enjoy a Japanese-style brunch afterwards. Price is €50 per person with sake or €45 with wine. The masterclasses will be held every Saturday in December from 12.30pm to 2pm.
Last but not least, wine lovers will be able to delight their taste buds at three wine tasting events.
The first, costing €175 per person, will feature nine Niepoort vintage ports and will take place on Friday, December 27 at 4pm.
A ‘Wine & Perfume Pairing’ event featuring Comporta Perfumes Creator Pedro Dias will be held the following day at 7.30pm (free admission) followed by a final wine tasting event on Sunday, December 29 at 4pm (price €175).
