Summer Times in the Algarve

A new anthology of 20 short stories, memoirs and poems entitled Summer Times in the Algarve has been published.

Compiled and edited by local writer Lisa Selvidge, the book, which will shortly be available to buy online, should appeal to both residents and visitors to the region.

Barbara Fellgiebel, founder of the ALFA literature salon, described Summer Times in the Algarve as “a lovely way to learn about history, customs, landscapes, the people and the language”.

“The fitting illustrations by Willy Russell add to the impressions of one of Europe’s best kept secrets,” she said.

Summer Times in the Algarve is also available at bookshops throughout the Algarve and is recommended to retail at 12 Euros.
