A Summer Tennis Tournament for Level A Veteran players is taking place on September 3 and 4 at the Carvoeiro Clube de Ténis from 10am.
Sponsored by the Carvoeiro Clube Group, the yearly tournament is opened to all members of the Portuguese Tennis Federation and players from all over the country are expected to attend.
The two-day event will see players competing for a share of the €3,000 prize money which the Carvoeiro Clube Group has donated.
Everyone is welcome to go along to the tennis club and cheer on the players as it promises to be an “exciting weekend of high octane tennis”.
An after-party is planned at the group’s nearby family resort, Quinta do Paraíso, on Saturday at 8.30pm, where players and spectators can enjoy live music around the poolside.
Both events are free to attend.
