Vila Real de Santo António Câmara is to begin charging for parking at the Manta Rota and Monte Gordo beach car parks as from today (Friday) until September 30. The measure is aimed at facilitating beach access.
For residents, business owners and hoteliers, special monthly and weekly fees have been created but need to be pre-paid at the headquarters of Sociedade de Gestão Urbana, which will be managing the system. Other car parks not located by the beach will remain free of charge.
