A major new art exhibition was launched at the Corte Real Gallery over the weekend of July 16 and 17 with visitors to the opening donating a small entry fee to the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA), one of several charities supported by the gallery.
The exhibition entitled Four of a Kind features specially commissioned paintings by four respected female artists – Sally Stafford, Beth Richardson, Laura Wright and Meinke Flesseman and will run throughout the summer.
Also on display at the gallery are Portuguese marble sculptures and bronzes, handmade ceramics, lamps chandeliers, decorative mirrors and books.
The gallery is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11am until 5pm and is free to enter.
