With the summer fast approaching, dining al fresco is a pleasure most of us cannot do without.
At Restaurante Morgadinho, located within the five star Suites Alba Resort & Spa, overlooking the unspoilt Albandeira beach with its stunning rock formations, you can enjoy some of the best gourmet cuisine in the Algarve or just a relaxing drink while taking in the sea breeze and those fantastic Algarve sunsets.
The resort’s Executive Chef, Louis Anjos, took inspiration from the colours, flavours and freshness of ingredients available at this time of year to create a “lighter and nutritious” spring-summer menu.
Chef Louis Anjos is confident that his culinary creations, combining innovation and versatility and using quality local produce, will delight the most discerning of gourmets.
This is evident when you try the mousse of cured codfish “Portuguese style”, with scallop and a cold pea soup, or the pig’s feet with coriander ravioli, garnished with celery cream for starters, or the roasted turbot with tomato and onion served with the traditional cockle “Xerém Algarve style” with sautéed spinach, or the pork loin, with crispy belly and cheek in a crunchy pasta on a celery root puree for main courses.
From the dessert list, we highlight the white chocolate cheesecake with almond biscuit, caramelised orange and orange sorbet.
