FULLY REFURBISHED and under new management the Bote Club in Carvoeiro reopened on Friday June 13.
This is a preopening period for the Bote Club and manager, Phil Francis, told The Resident: “The official opening will be on July 5 where there will be an invitation only party with some special guests from the UK.”
The Bote aims to be a place that appeals to everyone, either in the day time to relax on the beachside terrace, or in the evening a place to dance or to sit and talk with friends.
Locals and holiday makers packed into the club on the opening night, all admiring the new décor and comfortable ambience.
“This is exactly how I imagined the opening night,” said Paul Day the new owner. “The people, the music. I am really happy.”
A lot of time and effort has been put into the remodelling of the club, which has been stripped back and then refurbished to a very high standard. Stand alone tables and chairs, luxurious upholstery and pieces of art create a lavish ambience complemented by state of the art lighting.
Currently the Bote is only open from 10pm until 4am, but after the official opening party, the club will be open daily from 11am serving cocktails and tapas, reserve wines or a simple beer.
The Bote Club is free to enter except on live music night, when a fee will be charged.
