Over 60 exhibitors and 1,200 visitors gathered at the annual Vale do Lobo Charity Christmas Market last Saturday.
Exhibitors delighted visitors, selling everything from gourmet food products to unique Christmas presents while a live violin and voice performance entertained everyone, young and old, throughout the day.
The Christmas Market was held throughout the Parque do Golfe complex, Vale do Lobo Auditorium and exterior gardens, which meant that despite the light rain on the day, everyone was warm and dry making the most of the festive atmosphere.
The Vale do Lobo Christmas Market 2022 marked the long-awaited return to ‘normal’ life, allowing the re-encounter of visitors, partners and exhibitors in a unique atmosphere of celebration.
This year’s event welcomed both new and regular exhibitors, “carefully and spaciously distributed”, showcasing from gourmet wines and food, regional produce and seasonal sweets to jewellery, arts and crafts, ceramics, fashion, flowers, paintings, body products, toys, cards, and much more.
During the event, more than €1,000 was raised for the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, with the money being used to help the local community in need.

The Christmas Market is the first event of the festive season in Vale do Lobo and the seasonal spirit will continue throughout the month with entertainment, golf competitions, special parties and much more, while the resort will end the year with a fireworks’ display over the emblematic cliffs to welcome in 2023 with a bang.
