Loulé || A showcooking event supported by the Loulé Council is being held in the town’s municipal market on November 7 at 10.30am to mark European Day of Healthy Food and Cooking (November 8).
Students attending cooking classes at local secondary schools will be assisted by a chef from the Algarve’s hotel and catering school (Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo) in the preparation of a healthy, balanced menu to present visitors to the market.
Dietician Liliana Campaniço will be on hand to explain the importance of eating healthily, applying some of the principles of the Mediterranean diet.
