Vale Verde International School (VVIS) welcomed Maisie McGuirk and Sarah Winstanley for a fortnight of observation and teaching practice in the Primary section, as part of their UK degree course.
Sarah’s links with VVIS date back many years when, as a school student herself from Escola Internacional do Algarve, she shared the stage in ‘Daisy Pulls It Off’ and pantomimes, directed by her father Chris Winstanley, with fellow thespians from Vale Verde school.
The children appreciated the support, attention and encouragement afforded by Maisie and Sarah whose presence encouraged a cross-fertilisation of ideas and techniques of mutual benefit to the development of education.
