A LARGE block of gold bullion, valued at 1.27 million euros, was stolen from a museum in Japan by three masked thieves.
The bar weighed around 100kg and was kept in an open safe with no sensors protecting it because the museum wanted visitors to have the opportunity to touch it. The block was dragged down a staircase and out of the museum into a getaway car. No arrests have been made.
