This Tuesday morning’s strong winds led to the toppling of a Christmas tree on a roundabout in Lagoa.
The tree, which had been erected on Lagoa’s westernmost EN125 roundabout (near the new Burger King restaurant), toppled due to the power of the wind at around 10.10am.
Nobody was hurt and no damage was caused, a source from Lagoa’s volunteer firefighters told the Resident.
The tree has since been erected again by council services.
