FOR THE second year running, Strings Orchestra from St Julian’s School entertained evening shoppers at the Riviera Shopping Centre in Carcavelos.
Headed by David Higginbottom and Jackie Correia, the orchestra had improved considerably since last year, when The Resident first heard them. Parents and shoppers joined in with the medley of Christmas Carols. A passer-by told us he only called in for a newspaper but was so impressed with the music that he had stayed to listen.
