Every day that goes by with court workers striking sees further pressure added to the constipated aisles of the Portuguese justice system. Since its start on February 15 the current strike has jettisoned 21,000 hearings and trials into a nomansland of ‘to be rescheduled at some point in the future’. No one knows when.
