Ten passengers and two crew members were rescued after their tour boat broke down near the Portimão breakwater on Saturday afternoon.
Due to strong winds, the boat was being pulled towards the Ponta do Altar cliffs in Ferragudo. However, the Ferragudo lifeboat station crew were able to reach the boat in time and tow it to safety.
