Storm Armand causes flooding and fallen trees

Northern and central  areas are so far those worst affected byStorm Armand, likely to stay with us until Saturday. Various weather warnings are in place as Armand promises a bit of everything: heavy rain, thunder, high winds and a very humid tropical air mass. Rough seas are also part of the package, with waves that could reach 5m, so people are advised to keep well away from the water, and a good distance from the water’s edge.
