BRITISH OFF-beat orchestra, Stomp, are performing to audiences at Lisbon Casino’s Oceanos Auditorium until February 25.
The eccentric band, which plays an assortment of household instruments from bottles, boots, matches and brooms to aluminium dustbin lids, has already taken the UK by storm and now is holding Portuguese audiences enthralled.
With its unusual choreography, the performers will have you, at times, in stitches by using everyday household implements as percussion instruments with their unique blend of sound and colour.
Stomp began ‘stomping’ on the streets of Brighton when two buskers, Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, started to grab people’s attention – and grab it they did.
With more than 15 years experience under their belts, Stomp has already demonstrated their amazing talent and versatility all over the world and has now returned to Portugal to much critical acclaim.
