The government is “doing everything it can” to move forward with the construction of the Algarve’s Central Hospital but there is still no deadline for the project to be completed.
So said the ministry of health in a written response to the Bloco de Esquerda’s parliamentary group.
The government recognised the “importance and urgency” of the long-awaited hospital for the Algarve but the project has been on hold since 2011 for “financial reasons”.
