Travel back in time during the fourth Prehistoric Day celebrations to be held at the Centro Interpretativo de Alcalar, near Portimão, on April 17.
Archaeologists will guide visitors through the world of late Neolithic people with demonstrations in hunting, weaving, harvesting and the manufacturing of objects and tools.
The centre is open to the public between 10am and midday and from 2pm and 4.30pm. Entry to the event is free and a free park and ride bus is available to transport visitors from Portimão museum to the centre every 20 minutes throughout the day.
