State health service doctors on strike in central areas

A new strike by doctors will be affecting State health services in the centre of the country today and tomorrow, as nationally syndicates are locked in battle over pay and conditions with the government which they claim ‘is not listening’. Further strikes by medical interns are scheduled for later in the month.
