Groceries Galore, a new and unique concept in the Central Algarve, has recently started a shopping and delivery service for both holiday visitors and local residents.
Owner Vanessa Day explains the idea: “Not everybody visiting the Algarve has transport and, even if they do, they don’t really want to leave the beach or golf course to shop. Our company lets you enjoy your holiday or time off from work without having to worry about the mundane task of food shopping.
“Even if you are not on a break, but are just too busy, we can help with your shopping. And it is not only groceries that we offer with our same day delivery service – if you have run out of drinks, nappies or even toilet paper, we will happily deliver those items, with no minimum order restrictions.
If you prefer specific brand names, we will source these items for you. But, if you are not too fussy about certain brands, Groceries Galore can even save you money – enough to warrant the small 10 euro delivery charge.
