A stargazing night is being held on August 29 in Olhão, Organised by the Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve, the initiative is taking place at the Jardim Pescador Olhanense from 10pm and midnight.
The free-to-attend event will allow participants to observe the night sky through a telescope and admire the Moon, enhanced by the sunlight reflecting on its rugged surface, Saturn, Mars, and other planets in the solar system.
A team from the Centro de Ciência Viva do Algarve will be on hand to explain the various sky elements observed. Call 808 200 205
