A LACK of qualified engineers, technicians and other specialists in Portugal is leading companies to apply for staff abroad.
According to the Portuguese Professional Employment and Training Institute (Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional), there are 303 national companies that have posted job vacancies on the Eures, the European Job Mobility Portal, a European classified professional jobs site.
