“What a success, you certainly know how to organise things in Luz,” were some of the comments overhead during the barbecue held last week, following the Fun Golf Day organised by Martyn Hardeman, on behalf of St. Vincent’s Anglican Church.
The 44 golfers played an early morning Pairs Better Ball Competition at Boa Vista Golf Club, Lagos. They later joined around 100 parishioners from St. Vincent’s Church of England in Portugal, the only church in the Algarve with three congregations in Praia da Luz, Monte Palhaguera (near Sta. Barbara), and Almancil (at present meeting at the Chaplaincy House in Boliqueme), for a barbecue at the home of Martyn and Claire Hardeman.
