A St. George’s Day party at The Lighthouse restaurant at Marina de Lagos on April 23 was a success raising €4,000 for the Help for Heroes fund.
Around €3,500 was raised from an auction held on the day, €250 from a sale of Help for Heroes merchandise and a further €250 from donations in collection boxes and The Lighthouse staff. The restaurant will continue to support Help for Heroes and have collection boxes on the bar and are planning more events for the future in aid of the charity.
